On February 7, 2003 just before the onset of war in Iraq with Marina Potok I produced NoBush, a project meant to send a message of outcry about the impending war with Iraq. The photo was taken at sunrise at Bethesda Fountain in Central Park, New York City where the event had been staged for international media (Reuters and Associated Press) for dissemination around the globe. 28 the 128 women who volunteered, 28 were able to traverse the largest blizzard in NYC’s recorded history to execute the project. All of the women who posed for NO BUSH volunteered.
